HYATT PLACE MELBOURNE CARIBBEAN PARK
Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park is designed for professionals with high expectations of their business hotel. Every aspect of the hotel has been carefully considered, creating a space that is warm and luxurious.
Furn-Niche worked with lead designers SJB Architects to make their vision a reality. We engineered and manufactured the furniture and joinery to suit our offshore manufacturing, adhere to commercial limitations and stay true to the design intent.

We became active members of the project team early in the build, allowing us to work closely with the architects, developers and builders. Our designers developed a solid understanding of the design aesthetic and were driven to ensure all stakeholders were comfortable with our solutions.
Our dedicated Project Managers were in control of the logistics and delivery. Installing joinery requires constant negotiation with the builders and being methodical, flexible and communicative was key.

DESIGNER'S PICK
BEDHEAD
The designers envisaged a piece comprised of fixed size upholstered panels spanning the walls, integrating full electricals and a flush mounted lighting that spanned the full length.
Not having the ability to cut things to size on site, we needed to develop a design that integrated adjustability on all 4 axis. This allowed us to maintain the symmetry of each room layout whilst fitting fixed size components seamlessly and to finite tolerances.
