Five New FN Hotels in Two Weeks

Travelling has never been so desperately wanted. Before the pandemic, travelling within Australia was not everyone’s first choice, now a domestic adventure is just as exciting as a trip overseas. Leisure and business travel is rapidly picking up and we can not be more excited about it.

Recently, we went on a 16-day tour to all our freshly opened projects in South Australia, Victoria and New Zealand and our experience as guests was simply fantastic.

We began our adventure in Adelaide, where we of course stayed at award-winning Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets. Welcomed by spectacular architecture filled with dreamy furniture in lively colours and great customer service; straight away we knew this would be a standout experience.

Some of our memorable experiences in the wine state were sharing a few beautiful glasses of South Australian Shiraz under the stars at Indigo’s acclaimed rooftop followed by a sunrise swim on a crisp Adelaide morning.

Our adventure continued in Melbourne, where we stayed at the stunning Oakwood Premier. Its location is super convenient with easy access to iconic places such as the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, South Melbourne Market, Southbank and the heart of the city.

With an impressive 40 stories, the views from Oakwood rooms were breath-taking, particularly when the sun fell and the night mood set in. Its large public spaces such as the business lounge and games room fitted with our modern furniture are our highlight.

Moving on, we paid a day visit to Lyf in Collingwood. A playful boutique hotel which will soon accommodate Melbourne’s youthful visitors looking to explore the edgy streets of Collingwood.

We are incredibly proud on how our guestrooms’ joinery and furniture enhance the fun and colourful rooms and common areas. As the hotel’s management continued working on final details before it opens its doors to the public, we then made our way for a few nights to Hyatt Place Caribbean Park.

There, we found ourselves in an oasis. Hidden away in south-east Melbourne. The guestrooms offered a splendid ambience, especially at night when the integrated LED lighting washed gently over the soft neutral tones of the space creating a calm room we didn't want to leave.

The morning light shining through the restaurant windows and the view of the Dandenong Ranges’ mountains recharged us with energy needed for another day on a photo shoot.

Next stop was New Zealand, where we stayed at the Holiday Inn Remarkables Hotel in Queenstown. Surrounded by beautiful mountains we were reminded of the joys of visiting foreign lands.

The hotel’s staff were fabulously friendly and the fit out was on point; considered fabrics, vibrant colours and Maori art complemented the magical scenery beyond the windows. The lobby area was modern and the perfect place to contemplate our next adventure.

It was fascinating to see and experience each of our hotels with guest’s eyes. In 16 days, we came to the realisation that today more than ever people seek meaningful experiences and that our carefully considered products are a huge part of bringing them to life.
